Quality and sustainability
The candles are made using the highest quality wax, wick and dye – the same raw materials they have been using since their founding in 1987. Pure paraffin wax is used, the wick is made of 100% pure cotton, while the dyes and varnishes are water-based, so they contain neither acetone nor aniline. Environmental awareness also plays an important role in the packaging: all candles are shipped in FSC-certified packaging, thus supporting sustainable purchasing.
A combination of tradition and modern technology
The traditional craft of candle making still plays a central role in production, but now a robot is helping to place the wick into the base of the candle with the same precision as the manual work used to do. This allows production to keep up with growing demand while maintaining artisanal quality.
